The MAGA Cookie is Crumbling
MAGA-Mike Johnson was in Laredo, Tx this week BEGGING voters for more power to fix inflation. There’ s just one problem though: republicans have controlled all branches of our government for the last two years. Specifically, they’ve controlled: the House of Representatives for almost four years, the Senate for almost 2 years, and the Supreme Court for almost six years.
In his remarks, Johnson stated that more reinforcements are needed to fix the inflation problem and that you “can’t flip a switch fix four years of inflation that Biden gave us”. The problem with that statement is that the four-year rise in inflation was caused by Donald Trump’s firstpresidency. Trump’s failed response to the COVID pandemic is what caused the supply-chain disruption and sudden shifts in consumer behavior due to the lockdowns.
Inflation peaked at nine percent in 2022, but Joe Biden’s policies reduced it to three percent by the time he left office. Republicans who were in control of the House of Representatives complained about it non-stop and did not lift a finger to help. They have now allowed it to rise again to almost four percent as Americans struggle with increases in gas prices and food prices because of Trump’s war in Iran.
Republicans in Congress know that Trump’s failed policies will most likely cause them to lose control, so they are panicking and ramping up their false narratives and gaslighting. But it seems to be falling on the deaf ears of some staunch Republican voters.
One Iowa voter who cast his vote for trump three times said if he could talk directly to the President, he would tell him to “stop the bullshit”. Another lifelong Texas Republican said the Republican Party has “given them the middle finger”. In an interview on CNN about a proposed data center, he said for him it was “the incessant noise coming from these people; the incessant lying, they are not good neighbors, and they are damaging people”. He said they have been fighting the data center for three years and the Republican Party in their state has not shown they care and ironically, it was a Democrat that was willing to come and listen to their concerns.
This sort of sentiment has been echoed throughout the country as MAGA voters seem to be awakening from their miasma and are now leaving the cult. Stay tuned to Pragmotiv News and we will keep you abreast of all the upcoming midterm congressional races.
Canadian Prime Minister to Trump: Kiss My Ass
In yet another waste of time and energy, Donald Trump showed the world how much of a thin-skinned, petulant child he is. His reaction to comments about him from Ontario Canada Premier Doug Ford is classic Donald Trump! Trump escalated his feud with our closest trade partner after Ford told him to kiss his ass on camera at a news conference. He also called him a bully and said he wouldn’t take advice from the “king of bankruptcies”. Ford said he has a lot of real estate on his ass and so Trump would have a lot of room to kiss it.
Now Trump has signed an executive order to rename Lake Ontario to Lake America. Only, that executive order holds very little weight outside of the United States. He claims it has been on his mind for some time. But we all know it is a reaction to Ford’s comments. He’s now proposing a possible renaming of the oceans on each coast of the country.
Trump has now slapped fifty percent tariffs on Canadian goods, a move that brought swift retaliation from Canada in the form of tariffs on American goods. While Americans struggle every day to afford necessities like gas and food, this is the foolishness the President is devoting his time to and holding press conferences about. This is exactly why some of his staunchest supporters are turning their backs on him and MAGA. It’s also why we believe there is a good chance Democrats will control Congress next year.
Ingraham Spills the Beans About Republicans
Laura Ingraham admitted on live TV that the GOP is falling and in trouble politically. Fox News is continuing to push propaganda as it gaslights and distracts its viewers from important topics. But viewers are starting to see through their shenanigans. Major Trump cabinet officials are under water in polling. Pete Hegseth has a negative 22% rating.
One of the ways Fox News gaslights is by inviting guests on their shows and then springing “gotcha” questions on them. Jesse Watters did this to Abdul El-Sayed on his show and his colleague Will Kaine did the same thing to from DNC Chairman Jamie Harrison on his show. El-Sayed is the U.S. Senate candidate for Michigan. He wanted to talk about healthcare for Americans, gas prices, and getting money out of politics. Watters berated him with a question about men in women’s sports. Kaine berated Jamie Harrison when he pushed back on Kaine’s questions about whether the DNC should be afraid of the DSA (Democratic Socialists of America). Harrison had been invited to the show to talk about the South Carolina congressional race.
These Fox commentators and podcasters are so in lockstep with MAGA that even though Fox was sued for their past perpetuations of lies, they continue to help Republicans try to hold onto power. But even Fox News can’t lie well enough to stop the apparent awakening that is taking place with MAGA and Republican voters.
Update on the Nolan Wells Case
Nolan Well’ s parents, Christine Wells Wonsley and Elmore Wonsley have been unrelenting in their effort to get to the truth about the events surrounding their son’s death. They have now subpoenaed Sea Tow-related records from the day he disappeared. These records could help clarify the timeline and what transpired on July 4, 2026, when Nolan accompanied friends to Horn Island off the coast of Mississippi.
Sea Tow is the boat towing company that responded to the distress call placed by the friends Nolan was with on the July 4th trip to Horn Island. The teens reported that their bilge pump failed and the vessel was sinking. A partial and heavily edited clip of the call was widely circulated on social media. This led to a lot of speculation about foul play, in part because of the bizarre nature of the call and the seemingly contradictory communications from the teens and a relative of theirs.
The teen who made the call is heard telling the operator the boat is sinking, but when asked how much water is in the boat, he replies that he doesn’t know. Viewers of the clip remark how the teens seem too calm for someone who is on a boat in the ocean that is sinking. Also, a relative of the teen who placed the distress call, the boat’s owner, subsequently canceled the request for assistance. So, was the boat sinking or not?
The family’s legal team is seeking internal records from Sea Tow International and its local affiliate in Mississippi, Ward Marine Services. The subpoenas ask for the unedited full recordings of communications between Sea Tow employees, the boat captain, and the crew. They have hired an audio engineer to analyze these recordings. The subpoenas also request internal company training materials and procedures on how to handle calls from boats taking on water.
Meanwhile, lawyers for Warren Hudson, Jax Pitalo, and Morgan Seymour have threatened a defamation lawsuit against the civil rights activist, and head of the National Action Network, Rev. Al Sharpton. Attorneys Tyler Cox and Edward Paltzik sent a pre-suit demand letter to Sharpton, giving him 10 days to issue a public apology and retract statements they claim falsely implicated their clients in multiple felonies. They claim Sharpton’s public remarks during an appearance on TMZ and during Nolan’s birthday memorial service accused the teens of murder, hindering prosecution, and tampering with evidence.
Video of Sharpton’s remarks from the memorial service show Sharpton merely asking for the truth to come out and not naming anyone specific. He stated that he had been told that “one of the young men who was with Nolan that day has been online watching this”. Sharpton then invites the young man to come forward, offers to pay for an attorney for him, and says “if you have nothing to be concerned about, you will want to come forward. All these parents have asked is for the truth to about what happened to their son”.
It is interesting to note that one of the young men’s attorneys has a connection to MAGA-President Donald Trump. Edward Andrew Paltzik represented Trump in several defamation lawsuits he brought against major organizations like CBS, Paramount, The New York Times, and the BBC. Any lawsuit filed would involve depositions, so Sharpton has said he welcomes a lawsuit.
Trump Crashes and Burns in Florida
Donald Trump’s approval rating in Florida has plummeted as a voter revolt becomes more evident. Recent primaries in Florida further illustrate how an endorsement from Trump is likely the kiss of death for candidates. Cory Mills got trounced in his race as accusations of sexual misconduct continue to gain traction. Another GOP candidate, Catalina Lauf, also lost her primary. Both candidates were endorsed by Trump.
In the state’s gubernatorial primary, Byron Donalds, a long-time sycophant of Trump, narrowly won his race with less than fifty percent of the vote. He will have a run-off in November against David Jolly. Jolly, a former longtime republican who left the party years ago as MAGA took over, is leading in the polls.
Another Florida candidate for U.S. Senate, Angie Nixon, is gaining support. She defeated whistleblower Alexander Vindman in the primary. She will now face Republican Ashley Moody in November.
